Potter, sport, and dancing, naked men

Naked man dancing. Harry Potter. A week where you’re able to choose whichever event at this year’s Cultural Exchanges Festival takes your fancy. Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it?

Excitement's been mounting for a few weeks. Ever since a lecturer mentioned that a forthcoming performance by Daniel Ploeger might contain nudity, there’s been a sense of anticipation among the girls and some of the boys in our workshop groups. Cultural Exchanges is supposed to be all about experiencing new things and going to events that interest us, so I think this performance is definitely going on my list. Joking aside, it's got to be worth a watch, purely for the creative expression of art through performance installation. It will probably be unlike anything I've ever seen before.
This year, there seems to be something for everyone. The programme ranges from classical Indian Kathak dance with Sonia Sabri, to the Sunday Times’ ‘Voice of Sport’ Hugh Mcllvanney. It’s not very often that you get such a diverse range of speakers in one event, so it makes Cultural eXchanges THE place to be next week.
